Emra P. Crenshaw, 77, well known retired farmer of Stockport, passed away Thursday evening at 8:30 at the Burlington hospital. He had been seriously ill for the past two months.
Mr. Crenshaw was the son of the late Dial and Susanna Crenshaw. He was born March 15, 1867 near Stockport, and was united in marriage to Elizabeth E. Hall on March 10, 1889.
He had lived his entire life in the Stockport community.
Surviving is his wife, Elizabeth and one daughter, Mrs. Veda F. Brown of Stockport, and two sons, Harold Crenshaw, Stockport, and Ivan Crenshaw of Douds, Ia. Eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive. Two brothers and three sisters, preceded him in death.
The body is at the Weston Behner Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at the Stockport Methodist Church, Sunday, January 28, at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Burress will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, north of Stockport.
