DR. PAUL PARK

Services for Dr. Paul L. Park, 62, of Marietta, Ohio, formerly of Des Moines, were held at 3 p.m. Friday, Mar. 26 at Hamilton's Funeral Home, Des Moines. Burial was at the cemetery at Cantril Saturday morning at 11 o'clock.

Dr. Park died Sunday, Mar. 21 of pnuemonia and a heart ailment in a Marietta hospital after a week's illness. An osteopathic physician and surgeon, he practiced in Des Moines 24 years before moving to Marietta 12 years ago.

He was born at Mt. Sterling, Ia. and graduated from the College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines in 1927. He was a past president of the East Des Moines Kiwanis Coub and was a past master of Home Masonic Lodge and a past patron of the Hawkeye Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star at Des Moines. He also was a member of the Marietta Kiwanis Club.

He was a member of the Christian church.

Surviving are his widow, Betty; a daughter, Mrs. Sandra Ballagh of Columbus, Ohio; a son, Capt. Richard D. Park of Washington, D.C.; his father, O.D. Park of Cantril; a brother, Fred W. Park of Des Moines, and seven grandchildren.
