FRED C. NELSON
Fred C. Nelson was born at Muscatine, Iowa, June 20, 1891, and died September 2, 1928 at the age of 37 years. He died at the St. Joseph’s hospital in Ottumwa, Iowa where he underwent a serious operation for a ruptured appendix. He was a member of the Christian church and Christian Brotherhood of Milton, Iowa. His boyhood days were spent in Muscatine, Iowa and New Boston, Illinois. Coming to Warsaw in 1919.
He was married to Fredonia Allen, March 12, 1812[sic], to which were born three children, Dorothy, Jack and Ruth. All of whom survive him, also his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Nelson of Warsaw and one brother Harry Nelson and family of Ft. Madison.
For the past 12 years he lived in Lansing, where he was active in music. He was also a member of the Lansing Masonic Lodge No. 66. He came to Milton in April where he has been employed in the grocery business until his death.
