Mrs. John Shufflebarger

Mrs. Gladys Shufflebarger, 78, widow of John Shufflebarger, died Monday, Nov. 9 in a nursing home in Milan, Mo.

She was born in Cantril, the daughter of Ben and Maggie Fisher, on Dec. 1, 1891. She had lived in Cantril for several years.

Surviving are one son, James of Kansas City, Mo.; four daughters, Mrs. Margorie Anderson and Mrs. Glenna Corbin, both of Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Barbara Brown of Shawnee, Kan., and Mrs. Joanne Burke of Gilman City, Mo.; one brother, Robert Fisher of Pocatello, Idaho; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and two brothers.

Graveside services were held at Maple Grove Cemetery in Cantril, Wednesday, Nov. 11, with the Rev. James McKean of the Christian Church officiating.
