Wednesday, November 22, 1950Albert Canaday Dies After Long Illness
Albert Nuby Canaday, 65, died at his home near Birmingham yesterday after an illness of the past two years. He had been bedfast for six months.
The body is at the Catcott funeral home in Birmingham and services will be held at the Methodsit church in Birmingham Friday at 2 p.m. in charge of the Rev. H.C. Irvine. He will be assisted by the Rev. Lacy Thompson and burial will be at Mapel Hill cemetery.
Albert Canaday was born September 27, 1885, near Glasgow, the son of Emsley and Carrie Canaday. He was married to Dulcia Iris Gire November 8, 1916 who survives. Also surviving are five children, Ralph of Keosauqua; Mrs. Esther Beswick, Stockport; Fred, Carroll and Ernest at home. There are eight brothers and sisters.
