Mrs. Elvin Bonnett

Mrs. Lucille Bonnett, 83, died about 2:30 P.M. Friday, July 2 at Nelson Nursing Home, Fairfield. She had been in failing health several years.

She was born May 18, 1888, at LaGrange, Ill. She was a resident of the Fairfield and Birmingham communities for many years. She married Elvin Bonnett on May 4, 1915. He died Sept. 1, 1970.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Slater of Jackson, Mich; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held at 2 P.M. Sunday at Weston Behner Funeral Home, Fairfield, conduted by the Rev. Wilson Hyde. Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery at Birmingham.

Bonnett Funeral Will Be Sunday

Mrs. Elvin Bonnett, 83, died Friday at 2:30 p.m. at the Nelson Nursing Home. She had been in failing health for several years and had been a patient at the nursing home since Jan. 2, 1968.

Last rites will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Wilson Hyde officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Lucille Bonnett was born May 18, 1888, at LaGange, Ill., and lived most of her life in the Fairfield and Birmingham Communities. The family home was on the Walton Road northeast of Fairfield for a number of years.

She was united in marriage to Elvin Bonnett May 4, 1915. He died Sept. 1, 1970.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Slater, Jackson, Mich.; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
