MRS. ETHEL M. WISE

Mrs. Ethel M. Wise, 78, died Friday afternoon June 14, at the Burlington hospital, where she had been for a week following surgery.

The funeral was at the Stockport Christian church Sunday, June 16 at 2 p.m. with Rex Ches- with Rev. Chestal was in Spencer cemetery near Stockport.

She was born May 18, 1885 at Stockport, the daugher of George and Naomi Davidson Harlan. Her marriage to Harry M. Wise took place at Stockport Sept. 27, 1905. He died Aug. 18, 1954.

Mrs. Wise had lived in the Stockport community over 60 years and as a member of the Christian church there. She and her husband were farmers. She moved to Burlington in 1952.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Charline M Jameson of Burlington and Mrs. Vivian Dorothy of Keosauqua; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, one son, one sister and one brother.
