MRS. ORILLA WORKMAN

Mrs. Orilla Workman, 95, died at 6:10 a.m. Thursday, July 14 at Jefferson County Hospital after a serious illness of five days. She had been a resident of the Nelson Nursing home for several years.

Services were held Saturday, July 16, at 2 p.m. at the Behner Funeral Home in charge of Edward M. Esler. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mrs. Workman had made her home in Fairfield for more than 60 years. She was born Aug. 8, 1870 at Utica in Van Buren County, the daughter of Frederick and Mary Warner. She was married to George Workman March 2, 1893. He preceded her in death April 12, 1947.

Mrs. Workman was a member of the First Presbyterian church.

She is survived by one son, Stanley L. Workman, Route 3, Fairfield. Two brothers and four sisters are deceased.
