DEATH OF MRS. PENINGTON

We take the following from the Denver Post, concerning the death of Mrs. Kate Penington, a former resident of Milton.

Funeral services for Mrs. Katherine M. Penington, who died at her home at 570 Downing street, Tuesday, of pernicious anemia after an illness of eight months, were held from the Yeager funeral church at 2:30 o’clock, Thursday. Burial was in Fairmont cemetery.

Mrs. Penington was 60 years old. She was born at West Alexandria, Pa. She lived in Denver fifteen years, coming from Milton, Iowa. She was active in Easter Star and White Shrine circles in Denver and was a member of the Corona Presbyterian church.

One son, Reed Penington, an insurance man with offices in the Symes building survives. Her husband had been dead a number of years.
