Miss L. May Nixon, daughter of Jacob Nixon died at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Nixon, near Utica on February 4, 1902, congestion of the brain being the direct cause of death. Miss May was 18 years of age, and was endowed with a sweet disposition, ever having a smile and kind word in readiness for her friends.
