Earle Packer of Bonaparte.
Bonaparte, Ia., April 21. -- Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Packer of this place received a message Easter Sunday afternoon that their only son, Earle, had died of pneumonia at his home in Silver Peak, Nev., on Easter Sunday morning ( April 21.
His parents had been notified only last Thursday of his serious condition, and also of his wife's serious illness of the same disease.
Mr. Packer was born here, and was a graduate of the local high school, graduating with the class of 1900. He went to Ames and took a course in mining engineering, then was employed in Mexico, Alaska, and finally in California and Nevada. He was married less than a year ago to a California girl.
Funeral arrangements have not been learned at this time.
