KEOSAUQUA - Former Keosauqua resident Edna A. ELDER, 99, died Feb. 12, 1986, in Menahga, Minn., where she had lived the past 16 years.
She was born Feb. 24, 1886, in Keosauqua to Edward and Donna HYDE FOSNOT. She married Isaac ELDER on June 26, 1904, in Keosauqua. He died in 1970. They farmed west of Keosauqua, retiring to town in 1953 where she provided child care for families. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Menahga.
She is survived by a daughter, Evelyn ANDERSON of Menahga, Minn.; and a sister, Levina RILEY of Eagle Grove.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Pedrick Funral (sp) Home in Keosauqua, the Rev. Don Morrison officiating. Burial will be in Fellows Cemetery in Keosauqua.
Friends may call at their convenience beginning this evening.
