OTTUMWA -- Cynthia L. BOWEN, 44, of 614 W. Fourth St., died at 5:20 a.m. Dec. 6, 1993, at Ottumwa Regional Health Center.

She was born Aug. 20, 1949, in Ottumwa to Wayne and Arlene REDMON BOWEN.

A resident of Ottumwa all of her life, she was a graduate of Ottumwa High School in 1967 and had attended Indian Hills Communtiy College. She had been involved in the Democratic Party and was a member of Lupus Foundation and Riverview United Methodist Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Laura WEBSTER of Ottumwa; her father of Ottumwa; a brother, Randy of FLAGLER; and two sisters, Linda TROUTFETTER and Rhonda WOLD of Ottumwa.

She was preceded in death by her mother and grandparents, Mattie BAILEY, Wilda VANDELLO and Chester REDMON.

The service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Reece Funeral Home in Ottumwa, the Rev. Lana Nelson of Riverview United Methodist Church officiating.

Visitation is open after 9 a.m. today at the funeral home. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Memorials may be made to the family.

Pallbearers will be Terry Troutfetter, Tony and Mike Seddon, Roger Milsagle, Steve Sward and Ryan Webster.
