Mrs. Lila Gilyeart, 65, widow of E. E. Gilyeart, died at noon Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. M. Wilford, 416 Lotspeach street.

She was the daughter of John and Mary McDonald and was born June 20, 1870, at Rozetta, Ill. She was married to Edson Ellsworth Gilyeart March 7, 1888, at Long Island, Kan.
She had been a resident of Ottumwa and vicinity since 1896. Mrs. Gilyeart was a member of the Wesley Methodist Episcopal church, Cloutman Women’s Relief corps No. 134 and Woodbine camp No. 1014, Royal Neighbors of America.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. F. W. Norman, Mrs. A. D. McElroy, Mrs. Wilford and Mrs. V. W. Hahn, all of Ottumwa; one son, Glenn of Ottumwa; two brothers, Willis and Hugh McDonald, both of Kansas; two sisters, Mrs. Dawson Rogers and Mrs. Mattie Garrison, both of Kansas, and fifteen grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Lester Jay funeral home Friday at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Robert W. Swick.
Burial will be made in the Ottumwa cemetery. The body will be taken to the home of Mr. and Mrs. V. W. Hahn, 302 South Ransom street.

Pallbearers will be Charles Wilkinson, Floyd Orr, J. F. Black, F.W. Norfolk, Omer Welch and J. B Lyman.
