Funeral Held for Anna Bertha Roth At Primrose, Iowa

Anna Bertha Roth, daughter of John and Mina Roth, was born in Harrison township, near Primrose, Iowa, February 4, 1890, and passed away at the home of her birthplace, February 4, 1936, after a short illness, having attained the age of 46 years.

Miss Roth was preceded in death by her mother and father, one sister, Mrs. Rosa Foster, and an infant sister.

She leaves to mourn her passing, three sisters, Mrs. Matilda McGreevy of Troy, Iowa; Mrs. Emma Snider of near Farmington, and Miss Lydia Roth at home; five brothers, George Roth of Tyrone, Oklahoma; Pulian A. Roth of Troy, Iowa; Charles and Henry Roth of Farmington; and Edward at home. Besides fifteen nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was baptized May 11, 1890 at Zion’s Evangelical church of Primrose and confirmed her faith in that church March 27, 1904. Since then she has been a faithful member of the church and Sunday school. She was also a member of the Ladies Aid, having held various offices in that organization and at the time of her death was treasurer.

She was a person of cheerful disposition and apparently enjoyed serving her Master because of the love she had for him. She will indeed be missed in the home and by her many friends.
