Mary Hattie Morse daughter of M.H. and Susan Morse was born in Farmington, Ia. July 1871 and was reared in this community.
She was married to Frank K Perry, Jan. 2, 1894. To this union one child a daughter was born Mr. Perry deceased May 26 ---- and their little daughter followed soon after.
She was married to Fred Kick July 21, 1897 which proved a happy union.
In her earlier life she was converted and united with the Baptist church, but later transferred her membership to the Congregational church in which she remained a consistent member until her untimely decease although in her attendance especially during absence of a pastor in her own church, she in company with her husband was seen very often in the service of the other.

She was an active member in -- Chapter in which order she --- will be sorely missed. She was a member of Jean Espy Chapter A. R. Ft. Madison, Ia.
Her whole life, (excepting about a year of her early married which spent at Little River, Kansas) has been spent among us here in Farmington consequently she is very widely ---- and her sad death is very deeply deplored by the host of friends she made during her life among ---.

Mrs. Kick was ambitious and purpose in life took in large to which in her zeal and untiring end she was sure to accomplish though at times she perhaps she taxed her physical strength plans which she ever undertook --- because of any lack of enthusiastic energy on her part. She was generous almost to a fault and will be sadly missed by the poor to whom she gave no thought in an unostentatious
She was a woman of high spirits of jovial disposition which made pleasant company and royal entertainer. We shall miss her in -- many places where her influence was felt.
Her untimely death unexpected to her who so short a time before in the height of enjoyment was not expected by any of us and because this is the more sadly deplored. Death occured Thurs. a.m. Oct.5, ----.

She leaves besides her devoted husband, her father and mother, sisters and three brothers of immediate family who have the deepest sympathy of the entire community.
