Jessie Lois French was born Dec. 4, 1874, and died July 12, 1909, aged 34 years, nine months, and eight days. She was married to John C. Folker Dec. 23, 1900, and she leaves two daughters, Fern and Grace, three sons, Glenn, Charles and Carl, and her husband, also two brothers, Chas. French of Revere, Mo., and Ed. French of Chicago; and three sisters, Mrs. Albert Newman and Mrs. John Deitrich of Farmington and Mrs. G.T. Newman of Colo.

She was the youngest daughter of C.N. French and was born and reared one mile from Acasto, Mo., near her late home. For he last few years she has been delicate in health but she has battled bravely with suffering and weakness, always busy with the duties and pleasures of her home. She was a noble and loving mother, always striving to make her home the sweetest place on earth.

She united with the Congregational church of Anson, Mo., in 1899. During her last illness she said that life on earth would be short for her and that she had the blessed assurances of her renewal in heaven.
