Mr. William Perkins, an old resident of this place, who was in Ottumwa being treated, died on last Friday. The remains were brought to his home in Bonaparte on the noon train Saturday. The funeral services took place from his late residence at 1 o’clock p.m. Sunday, by the Rev. Wilson of Mt. Sterling assisted by Rev. Pool of Bentonsport. The remains were interred in the Rhodes graveyard.
