Edward Hassler was born in Farmington July 28, 1881. He was married to Lena Cochran Dec. 25. 1903. He leaves to mourn his loss, widow and young baby and two brothers, Orie of Ft. Madison and Joseph of Ft. Riley, Kans. His father, mother and one sister passed away a few years ago. He was converted to the M. E. church during the winter of 1900 but did not unite with any church. The funeral was held at Acasto Friday March 17 conducted by Rev. J. Longson.
