Lottie Leach, daughter of Joseph and Jane Leach, was born June 9, 1876, at Bonaparte, Iowa, and departed this life at Pasco, Wash., Sunday morning, at 2:30, Feb. 4, 1940 at the age of 63 years, 7 months, and 24 days after a short illness.
On March 6, 1898, she was united in marriage with Frank Wyer. To this union one son, Marvin, was born. The husband and son survive.
Lottie was the last member of her family, three brothers. Frank N., Walter and Oscar, and one sister Annie preceded her in death.
Immediately after their marriage they went to housekeeping in Bonaparte, spending most of their lives in Bonaparte, Humeston, and Des Moines. In 1937 they moved to Pasco, Wash.
She was a member of the Baptist church at Humeston. Her family and home were her chief interests in life.
Funeral services were held at the Baptist church at Bonaparte Saturday at 2:30, Rev. Winfrey officiating.
