At the home of S. Eaton, in Bonaparte, Sunday, February 14, 1892, W. E. Hearn, aged 72 years, 7 months. The funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon by Rev. D. McMasters, who preached an able sermon. The remains were laid to rest in the Bonaparte cemetery.

His three sons, E*. from Eddyville, Wm. from Kirksville, Mo. And Alex. from (unreadable), Mo., and his two daughters, Mrs. Hurlbut and Mrs. Gillespie, were present at the funeral.
