Margaret Ketcham 1839-1904

Miss Margaret Ketcham was born near Monongahela City in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, April 9, 1839. In early life she united with the Presbyterian church of which she has remained a faithful and consistent member until death.

Of a family of nine children four sons and five daughters, three living, viz. Benj. Ketcham of Bonaparte, Iowa; John Ketcham of Macon, Mo; and William Ketchum of Missoula, Montana.

All her life she has lived in Pennsylvania except the past year which she has spent with her brothers in Missouri and Iowa, having decided to come west and live the remainder of her life. She had been west several times but never for a great length of time.

She was never very strong and for several weeks she had been failing rapidly from nervous prostration until the end came Sunday afternoon June 12, 1904 at 4:14. Funeral services were held at the home Tuesday at 9 A. M. conducted by Rev. Steele of Sharon and the remains were taken to the Sharon cemetery for interrment. [sic]
