William Moran.

William Moran was born at Teonre, Ireland, March 15, 1827, came to America in 1849 to Iowa in 1854 and has been a resident of Lee county ever since.

He died Dec. 10, 1908, in Ft. Madison and the remains were buried at Sharon. He lived for many years near Big Mound and owned much land in that vicinity, being worth probably $90,000; [end of clipping]
