Mrs. Anna Hartrick
Mrs. Anna Hartrick, wife of Albert Hartrick of Bushnell, Ill., passed away suddenly at her home Thursday at 6 p.m. She had been in her usual health and only became ill in the afternoon. Her death was attributed to a heart attack.
Mrs. Anna Hartrick, the daughter of Margaret Swinney George and David George, was born April 5, 1875 at Pulaski.
She was graduated from Milton high school and Keosauqua Normal after which she taught in the Iowa schools for a number of years.
On July 31, 19** [NOTE: The year is too blurry to transcribe accurately.], at Keosauqua she was united in marriage to Albert H. Hartrick of Farmington. To this union were born three sons, one son, Donald Edwin, having preceded her in death.
Mr. and Mrs. Hartrick made their home in Farmington until 1925 where they moved to Bushnell, Ill., where she made many friends. She was a faithful member and worker of the First Presbyterian church of Bushnell. She was also a member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood, Bushnell Women’s club and of the Vineyard Workers.
Those who survive her passing are her husband and two sons, George of Bushnell, ill., and Henry of Fairfield, Ia.; one granddaughter, Nancy Ann; one sister, Ora May Robinson, of San Antonio, Tex., and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves a host of friends and neighbors.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at the Kugler funeral home in Bushnell and brief services were held at the cemetery in Farmington where interment was made Sunday afternoon.
