Sad Death.

One of the saddest occurrence that we have had to record for awhile is the death of Miss Luella Effner, a young lady of stout physique and full of life and health but a few days ago, but now lies in the cold grave. She came up from Keokuk Monday night June 18th to work at the Sharp hotel and took sick the next day, in spite of the best medical care lingered until Friday last at ten, when death came. Her father arrived from Keokuk and shipped her remains there on the two o'clock train Saturday.
