Jessie May Nelson
Jessie May Nelson was born in Keokuk, Iowa, Nov. 8,1873. Much of her life was spent in the home of her mother's sister, Mrs. Joseph Hinish, of Bonaparte. Here she won to herself many friends, who admired her many pleasing qualities.
She was married to Mr. Frank Jenkins in Bonaparte, Iowa, Jan. 21, 1891. To them were born two sons, one of the children dying in infancy.
She leaves to mourn their loss her husband, one son and three sisters; also her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Hinish, who feel very deeply their loss.
All have the sympathy of the people in the community. She died at 8:20 o'clock A.M., on Friday, March 24, 1899. The funeral took place from the residence of Mr. Hinish on Sunday, March 26, 1899, the service being conducted by Rev. G. W. Barber assisted by Rev. E.J. ____.
