Amelia Emma Bennett daughter of John Fredrick and Martha Schao Mack was born near Farmington. Jan.4 1890 and departed this life July 21, 1958, at the age of 63 years, 6 months, and 24 days. She was the second child of a family of three.
On June 20, 1907 she was united in marriage to James Edward Bennett. To this union four children were born, al of whom survive. They are: Elmer Bennett, Holcomb, Kansas; Emma Harkness, Plad, Missouri; Dale Bennett, Phoenix, Arizona, and Dorothy McElroy, Clarinda, Iowa.
Besides her husband and children she is survived by 12 grand-children, 8 great grandchildren; a brother, Carl F. Mack, Little York, Illinois and a sister, brother Truman of Ottumwa, Iowa, nephew nieces and host of friends.
She and her husband made their home northeast of Bonaparte for 21 years. They then moved to Kansas where they lived for five years, then moving to Clarinda, Iowa where they made their home for _____years, They have lived ___ ___ ___years north of Cantril.

She ___ _____ ____ and was manifested by the beautiful ___ ___ ____ ___her home.
She delighted in sharing these with others, never forgetting to bring them to the house of the Lord.Memorial services were held at the Cantril Christian church Monday. July 24th at 1:30 pastor Herbert C. Shaw minister officiated. Larue Wilson, W. W. Wellborn, L. V. Daggs, and H.S. Saar sang, accompanied by Mrs. S. E. Wellborn, who also played organ selections. Burial at the Cantril cemetery.
