Andrew Spence
Andrew Spence, son of John and Mary Spence, was born of Scotch parentage, at Niagara Falls, June 10th, 1845, and died in Bonaparte, Dec. 29, 1910, age 65 years 6 months and 18 days.
Mr. Spence came to Bonaparte in 1867 and was employed in the Woolen Mills here for about 25 years, retiring from active work in 1893.
There are left to mourn him one sister, Mary B., and two brothers, John and George F.
Mr. Spence was an honest and upright man and all who knew him liked him. Bonaparte has lost one of its best and loyal citizens.
Funeral services were held at the late home Saturday afternoon at two conducted by Rev. T.L. Smith with burial in the Bonaparte cemetery.
We wish to thank neighbors and friends for their great kindness to us during the Illness of our brother Andrew and for their comfort and ________.
