ELDON -- Clara R. Riley, 89, of Eldon, died Thursday morning, Feb. 23, 1995, at Jefferson County Hospital.
The services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Assembly of God Church in Eldon with the Rev. John Cooper officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery at Cantril. Open visitation begins at 9 a.m. Saturday at Campbell-Kremer Funeral Home in Eldon. Memorials have been established to the Eldon Rescue Unite and Assembly of God Church of Eldon.
Mrs. Riley was born Aug. 2, 1905, in Salem, the daughter of Frank A. and Emma V. Buffington Randolph. She was reared and educated in Salem, graduating from Salem High School in 1922. On May 28, 1923, she married Floyd J. Riley in Keosauqua. He died May 22, 1976. They lived in Ohio, Missouri and California before moving to Eldon in 1974. She was a homemaker, a member of Congregational Church in Salem and was currently attending Assembly of God Church. She was a former member of Daughters of the American Revolution and a member of Ladies Aid of Prairie View Methodist Church in Scotland County. Mo.
Surviving are a son, Floyd of Gillette, Wyo.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Elva E. Brady of Fairfield. A sister, Noreen Garmoe, preceded her in death.
