Aged Milton Man Succumbs
J.F. Feyhl Dies Thursday After 3-Week Illness; Funeral Saturday
J.F. Feyhl, resident of this community for many years, died at 4:30 p.m. last Thursday, Mar. 6, following an illness of three week duration. He was 86 years old.
Funeral services were conducted at the Christian church at 2 p.m., Saturday by the pastor, the Rev. A.M. Hadley. Mrs. Mayme Marshall and Mrs. Letha Atkins sang with piano accompaniment by Mrs. Beryl Gilchrist. Pallbearers were George Abernathy, Oliver Leaverton, George Fellows, Warren Carr, J.C. Hall and Bert Wilson. Burial was in Sunnyside cemetery.
Born in Stutgart, Germany, Mr. Feyhl came to this country at the age of 21. Since that time he has spent most of his life in and near Milton, living for many years on a farm east of Milton and moving to town 23 years ago. He was a member of the Christian church.
Survivors include his widow, the former Miss Arminta Webster; daughter, Miss Beulah Feyhl, and son, William W. Feyhl, both of Milton, daughter-in-law, Mrs. William W. Feyhl, granddaughter, Mrs. Beecher Wilson and great granddaughter, Connie Lou Wilson, and one sister, Mrs. Barbara Dobelmaun of Burlington
