Leaverton Rites Held at Cantril

Funeral for 76 Year Old Former Resident at Methodist Church; Leaves Daughter and 2 Sons

Funeral services for Alvin Leaverton, 76, were held at the Methodist church in Cantril Saturday afternoon
In charge of the Rev. Jay Waterman.

A quartet compost of Mrs. L. A. Fritz, Mrs. J. J. Hurwitz, B.C. Casady and John Van Fleet sang, with Mrs. George Cretcher as accompanist.

The bearers were Walter Miller, Stanley Hoskin, Frank Smith, W.H. Beaty, E E. Evans, and W. Roberts.
Burial was at the Cantril cemetery.

Mr. Leaverton son of Mr. and Mrs. John Leaverton, died at Los Angeles, Calif. Where he had been the past seven years with his daughter Mrs. C. C. Hoskins, Mrs. Leaverton died eight years ago.

Surviving are the daughter and two sons, Jesse J. Leaverton of Chicago, and Lee Leaverton of Phoenix, Ariz.
Another son Cecil, died several years ago.
