Died: At the residence of her son-in-law, A. G. Lee, on South Prairie, Jan. 30, 1894, Margaret Sharp, aged 92 years.

Sister Sharp was born Sept. 25, 1801 in Swinfield county, Kent England, married Dec. 27, 1831 to John Sharp, came to America in 1837 and settled in Cleveland, Ohio, moved to Clark county Mo., in 1857 and from there to the place of her death last June. She united with the Wesleyan Methodist church in 1840. Since that time she lived a consistent Christian life. For the last four years she has been an invalid. May all those who cared for her so kindly and tenderly prepare to meet her in heaven. Funeral services were held at the South Prairie Chapel Feb. 1st, conducted by Rev. Randolph after which her body was laid to rest in the cemetery near by.
