Ruhanna Constance Hendrickson was born Sept. 15, 1866 at Drakesville, Iowa. She was the oldest daughter of a family of seven children in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elijah D Hendrickson. She translated(sic)to the home eternal from her ranch home on Jacks creek, Saguacho county, Co. At midnight Oct. 29, 1935
James J Keller was born Sept. 1 1864 at Keosauqua, Iowa son of Mr. and Mrs. John W Keller. The husband and father had the sincere desire of his heart satisfied when on Wednesday evening Oct. 30, 1935 he followed his life companion into the eternal thus closing nearly fifty years of happy married life. This union had its beginning at Drakesville, Iowa Feb. 24, 1886. For a short time after their marriage they resided in Keosauqua, Iowa later moving to Saguache, Co. where they retired to their mountain home on Jacks Creek.
Those good parents are survived by two daughters , Mrs. Ora McKelvey of Denver, and Mrs. Wilbur Johnson of Saguache, and by two sons John W and Wilbur P. Keller, both of Saguache, and fifteen grandchildren. The mother has two sisters living; Mrs. Stella Fuller and Mrs. Alma Brokaw, both of Waterloo, Iowa and one brother Elijah D. Hendrickson of Ottumwa, Iowa. The father has one sister living, Miss Emma Keller of Keosauqua, Iowa.
The Joint funeral was held from the Community church at Saguache, of which they were long time members, Friday afternoon, Rev. C W Hardon officiating. Burial was in Hillside cemetery at that place.
