Ella Anna Linn was the oldest daughter of Milton A. and Mary E. Linn and was born Nov. 18, 1870 in Van Buren county, Ia. As a result of special meetings held-by Rev. C.W. Wilson at Home Prairie she united with the Methodist Episcopal church at the age of 16 years and has since lived a faithful, consistent Christian life.

On March 31, 1895, she was united in marriage to John C. Struble in a happy union, which brought to their joy four children, Harry James, Velma Eva, Jesse Leland and Arthur Linn. It (sic)the spring of 1910 they moved to Edmonds county, S.D. where they have since resided until the happy union was broken by the death of the mother at 2 a.m. June 30, 1912.

Besides leaving a devoted husband and children there remains a loving father, three brothers and four sisters to mourn the loss of a faithful mother and friend.
