MRS. JOSEPHINE ELLER
Mrs. Josephine Eller, daughter of Thomas William and Sarah Hales, was born in Carrollton, Carroll county, Ohio, Feb. 8, 1859. She departed this life in Lincoln, Nebr., Thursday, Nov. 5, 1942, at the age of 83 years, 8 months and 26 days. She moved with her parents to Iowa when she was four years old and lived in Van Buren county until she was married.
She was united in marriage with Frank Eller, May 18, 1884. They moved to Harvard, Nebr., in 1904 and lived there until Mr. Eller died Sept. 19, 1925 She has lived in Lincoln for the past 13 years.
She first united with the Methodist church, but later united with the Christian church of Harvard, Nebr., and was member of the East Lincoln Christian church at the time of her death.
Five children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Eller. She is survived by two sons, T. W. Eller of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, and Omer F. Eller of Lincoln; two daughters, Mrs. George Spady of Imperial, Nebr., and Mrs. Charles Day of Beatrice, Nebr. One daughter Mrs. Lulu Simpson, died in Keokuk in 1938. There are also left to mourn their loss 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held in Lincoln Nov. 7, and the body was taken to Harvard where it was laid to rest by the side of her husband. She has several relatives in Van Buren county.Obituary source is unknown
