PERKINS: In Bonaparte, Iowa, Jan 11, 1885, Mrs.
Eliza Perkins, wife of Joseph F. Perkins, aged 64 yrs., 9 mo., 13 da.

Deceased was born in Sciota Co., Ohio, March 29th, 1820 and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Jacob Myers. She came to Iowa with her parents in 1839; was married to her now bereaved husband April 1, 1847. She was the mother of 7 children, two of whom have preceded their mother to the other world. She was a kind and loving wife, an affectionate mother and was much respected by her friends and neighbors. Funeral took place from the home in Bonaparte on Jan. 13, (illegible) officiating.
