ATTEND FUNERAL IN NAUVOO, ILL.
Farmington-Mr and Mrs Irwin Story, Mr and Mrs Kenneth Story, Mrs Lewis Daniels and Mr and Mrs Friend Harness, all of Farmington, attended funeral services for Bert Story, 75, in Nauvoo, Ill., Sunday April 15, 1951. Burial took place at Nauvoo.
After several months' illness he died April 13th in a Burlington hospital.
The son of Mr and Mrs Frank Story, he was born on a Clark county, Mo., farm 9 miles southwest of Farmington. He was married in 1898 to Nellie Ross of the Anson community. They made their home in Farmington until 1917, when they moved to Nauvoo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Florence, and five brothers, Homer, James, Otis (who died in camp during the first World War), George and Harvey Story.
Those surviving are the widow, Nellie Ross Story, two daughters, Juanita at home, Mrs. Ethel Doyle, St. Louis, Mo., and two sons, M/Sgt. Ivan Story of Ft. Dix., N.J., and Clark Story of Louisville, Ky., five grandchildren and one great grandchild, two sisters, Mrs. Emmma Peterie, Keokuk, and Mrs. Lewis Daniels, Farmington and two brothers, John and Irwin Story of Farmington.
