Isabelle May Warner, daughter of Frederick and Mary Warner, was born on December 1, 1864 and passed away on May 8, 1947 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Albert Rehkopf, at the age of 83 years, 5 months and 7 days.
On April 17, 1884 she was united in marriage to George A. Perkins. To this union were born four children, Emily, Lillian, Austin and Lester.
She was preceded in death by her husband, who passed away May 11, 1905; Lillian who passed away in infancy; Lester, who passed away at the age of 23 years.
On May 10, 1915 she was united in marriage to John Work of Cantril, who passed away Dec 24, 1937.
The early part of her life was spent in the Utica neighborhood except one year lived in Idaho. The last thirty-three years she lived in Cantril.
In early life she united with the Baptist church at Utica, later was active in the Christian church at Cantril.
Those who remain to share their loss, are one daughter, Mrs. Emily Rehkopf; one son, Austin Perkins; one sister, Mrs. Orilla Workman of Fairfield; one stepson, Forest Work of Milton; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 10 at the Utica Methodist church with the Rev Mina M. Hargis, pastor of Cantril Christian church in charge. Burial was in Dibble demetery. Singers were Mrs. Paul Wellborn and Mrs. Jack Madden both of Cantril. Pallbearers were Floyd Rehkopf, Stuart McCracken, Orville Lee, Veron Perkins and Jack Mitchell, all grandson, and Forest Work, step-son. She was also a rebekah
