Miss Cora Atkinson, one of the brightest and most respected of the young ladies at Bonaparte, died at her home Saturday morning. Miss Atkinson had long been a sufferer from consumption. She served acceptably as assistant postmaster for eighteen months, being compelled, last October to resign her position, owing to failing health. The funeral took place from the family residence at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon and was largely attended.
