OTTUMWA—Ronald E. Harryman, 65, died June 16, 2010, at his home in St. Louis, Mo.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, July 1, at the Lebanon United Methodist Church in Lebanon, Iowa.

Survivors include his sisters, Sheryl Bequeaith and her husband Raymond of Cedar Rapids; brothers Richard of Libertyville, Roger Jo of Birmingham, Ray of Bloomfield, and Ryan of Wapello; several nieces and nephews, and his dog, Fred.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Sheila Johnston, and two brothers, Randall and Roy.

Ron was born Oct. 8, 1944, in Ottumwa to Ronald Ladelle and Dorothy Harryman. He graduated from Van Buren High School in 1962 and after college worked as an art instructor in the school system near his home until retiring from that from profession.
