Lou Ann Randell, daughter of Berry and Mary Brassfield Paschal, was born June 30, 1890 in Lee County, Iowa and died Thursday, Nov, 17, 1983 at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua at the age of 93.

On October 12, 1910 she married Rollen Randell in Bloomfield. They farmed in Lee County, Iowa and Henderson County, Ill., and retired to Stronghurst, Ill. In 1978 they moved to Country Lane Apartments in Keosauqua where they resided until entering the Scotland County Nursing Home in Memphis, Mo., in November 1982.

Remaining are her husband, a sister, Emma Paschal of Bettendorf, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Two brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.

Mrs. Randell was a member of the Stronghurst United Methodist Church.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 19, 1983 at 10 a.m. in the Pedrick funeral Home, Keosauqua, with Pastor James watson of the Keosauqua Congeregational Church officiating, graveside services and interment were at noon the same day, with Dr. Oliver Zivney of the Stronghurst United Methodist Church officiating. Memorials were established for the Stronghurst United Methodist church and the Keosauqua Country lane Apartments.
