Wm. Burrows was born in Pittsburg, Pennsylvanis, December 19, 1852, died at his home three miles southwest of Milton, March 19, 1907, age 54 years,3 months and 9 days.
He was married to Emma Harper, December 10, 1884. To them four children were born, Blanche Edna Myers, Grant, who died in 1888, Ford Leslie and Standly Clayton. His parents came to Pairie Township, Davis County, in 1854, where they resided till their death a few years ago. By nature he was a very frank outspoken man, but one who was kind of heart. He was a man of sterling intergity. In the last few weeks of his life, recognizing that he could not live must(much) longer, he turned to the Savior who is ever merciful and compassionate to receive all who will come unto him. He leaves besides his wife and three children, four brothers, one sister, and many dear friends. Funeral services were held at the M.E. Church, Wednesday March 20, at 1 p.m.at Milton, by Rev. D.R. Martin, Interment was in the new cemetery.
