ROBERT (BOB) SKELTON VICKERMAN

Keosauqua:
Robert (Bob) Vickerman died peacefully in his sleep at his daughter’s home in Altoona, September 15, 2006. Bob was born in Illinois and grew up in the Evanston area then moved to Keosauqua in 1947. He and his wife Ruth owned and operated Vick’s Café in Keosauqua for many years. He had been a long time member of the Keosauqua Congregational Church and a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Bob was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ruth; and his son, Charles. He is survived by his loving children, Robert Vickerman of Monroe, WI, Janine Waters of Des Moines and Jeri Cain of Altoona. He also leaves ten grand-children and eight great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Keosauqua Congregational Church.
