PAULINE LOSEY

Pauline Losey, daughter of John C. and Isabelle Sparks Wollam, was born January 7, 1909, near Cantril and departed this life Wednesday, August 28, 1974 at Laughlin Hospital in Kirksville, Mo., at the age of 65.

On March 26, 1930, she was married to Clyde Losey who passed away in 1969. Remaining to cherish her memory are two sons, Elwood of Mason City and Marvin of Virginia, Ill., a daughter, Mrs. Lois Kinzer of Monmouth, Ill.; daughters-in-law Eileen and Evelyn Losey and son-in-law Charles Kinzer; nine grandchildren, two brothers, John Wollam of Reseda, Caifornia and Eugene Wollam of Kahoka, Mo., a sister, Mrs. Geraldine Koeber of Ft. Madison, other relatives and many friends.

Mrs. Losey was employed for a number of years at the Catcott Funeral Home as a hostess and continued on a part-time basis with Pedricks. She was an active member of the Keosauqua Christian Church and its Christian Woman's Organization. She was currently serving as treasurer of the Keosauqua Business and Professional Women, was a member of the Izaak Walton League, Busy Bee Club, Garden Club, and worked in various other local civic groups. She was widely known as a baker and decorator of cakes for weddings and other occasions, and will be remembered for her dedication to her home, her family, her church and her community.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, August 31, at 2 P. M. at the Keosauqua Christian Church, with the Rev. Dan Mast, pastor offficiating. Interment was in Fellows Cemetery with arrangements in charge of Pedrick Funeral Home.
