Oliver Keith Holcomb

Oliver Keith Holcomb born Jan. 11, 1905 at Douds, Ia., the son of Grant and Ella Brooks Holcomb, age 51 years 2 months and 14 days, departed from us at St. Petersburg, Fla. Sunday, March 25, 1956. Mr. Holcomb a retired construction forman of building, for Bethlemem Steel Company in Allentown, Pa. He moved to St. Petersburg from Allenown two years ago. Mrs. (sic) Holcomb was a member of the International Brotherhood of Boiler Makers of Kansas City, Mo.

Survivors include his wife, Maree Holcomb, a step-son, Joseph Henry Moore of Douds, Ia.; a sister Mrs. Gladys Whitney Glendale, Ariz., two nephews, Joseph Whitney of Glendale, Ariz; Harry Grant Holcomb of Ottumwa, Ia. Also one niece Mrs. Donna Mathias of Bloomfield, Ia. One uncle Oliver Brooks of Floris, Ia. Also surviving are a number of cousins and other relatives.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 30 at the Pedrick Funeral home in Douds with the Rev. L.E. Terpstra officiating.

Interment at Leando Cemetery.
