DEATH OF MRS. GEORGE LEWIS

Mrs. Sarah Lewis died at her home in Pittsburg precinct Sunday night, April 19, about 10 o'clock. Her sudden taking off was a great shock to the family and neighbors as it was not known that she was seriously ill. She was born in Ohio, April 24, 1844, and at the time of her death lacked only five days of being 70 years old. She and her husband lived for many years in the home where they both died, he a few years ago. They were highly esteemed by their neighbors. Mrs. Lewis' funeral was held at the home at 10:30 o'clock Wednesday forenoon, services conducted by Rev. Young. Burial was in the Valentine cemetery beside her husband. We will have an obituary for next week.

Sarah Jane was d/o Absolum Keller and Louisa Wiley and the wife of George Marion Lewis born 11 Jun 1838, died 06 Aug 1910. I know of at least eleven children for Sarah & George. I would like to know more about this family.
