MRS. BOYER, 85, DIES WEDNESDAY

LAST SURVIVING MEMBER OF ABNER MARTIN FAMILY IN THIS COUNTY

Mrs. Ollie A. Boyer, 85, died at the Ottumwa hospital last Wednesday at 6 p.m.She was the daughter of Abner and Louisa Martin and was born in Van Buren County, December 26, 1850. She was the last of a family of eleven children. Mrs. Boyer had lived with her daughter at 328 East Second street in Ottumwa for the last sixteen years.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Ora Rigler, of Mission, Texas; Mrs. Lottie Durbin and Mrs. Harness, both of Ottumwa; one son, Lawrence Boyer of Keosauqua; eighteen grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Martin Boyer, in 1930, and one son.
Funeral services were held Friday at 2 p. m. at Center Chapel, five miles southeast of Keosauuqua [sic], conducted by the Rev. M. E. Hayes. Burial was in the Center Chapel cemetery.

NOTE: I believe her sister is Charlotte Martin (1840-1927) who married William Anson. I am seeking additional information.
