DIED

At the residence of her parents in Harrisburg township, Saturday, July 7, 1878, of congestion of the brain, Caroline, wife of James E. Sutton, of Canton, Ills.

Deceased was the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. Easling of Harrisburg township; was born at Hector, Thompkins county, Ohio, in 1840; was married to Dr. James E. Sutton, May 5, 1859. Deceased was visiting her parents, and attended the celebration at this place last Thursday and on returning to their home in the evening was taken suddenly ill and continued to grow worse until Saturday morning when she died. Her husband arrived Saturday evening, and the funeral took place Sunday at 2 o'clock P.M. She leaves a husband, four sons, three brothers, one sister, father and mother, and innumerable friends to mourn her.
