KEOSAUQUA - Mrs. Dorothy Watkins, 65, died at 2 p.m. Tuesday, in Van Buren County Memorial Hospital.

She was born to John and Sarah Deming Peas June 19, 1902 at Faragut. She married Roy Watkins at the Little Brown Church at Nashua in 1927. She graduated from Iowa State University, Ames in 1925 and taught economics at New Hartford and Cripple Creek, Colo. She was a member of Center Chapel Methodist Church and the W.S.C.S. and had lived her 40 years.

Surviving are her husband; one son, Jesse with the Institute of Atomic Research at ISU, Ames; two daughters, Mrs. Jeanette Vander Water of El Cerito, Calif. and Mrs. Maxine Massen of Highland; seven grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Florence Dempster of Grinnell, Mrs. Grace Aspedon of Hamburg and Mrs. Helen Wright of Riverton; and one brother, Harry Peas of Mission, Texas.

(She died Jan. 28,1968.)
