HAD BEEN IN POOR HEALTH SEVERAL YEARS; 74 YEARS OLD

Miss Lydia Parkins died at about 5:15 Thursday morning at the home of her sister, Mrs. Louisa Beans in the west part of Milton. She had been in poor health for several years and had been seriously ill for the last few months. Mrs. Parkins would have been 75 years old, November 3.

She was born November 3, 1861, at Rockhill, Ohio, the daughter of Louis and Margaret Parkins. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Louisa Beans and Mrs. D. C. Gilchrist, both of Milton and a brother, J. B. Parkins, of Sonora, Calif. A sister, Mrs. Tony Bishop preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held at 10 a. m. Saturday at the Burnett funeral home here in charge of Rev. E. S. Hehner, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church. Interment was in the Round Grove cemetery southwest of Milton.
